Until recently, drones were nowhere on my radar and I had almost no idea that they existed.

Since learning about them, I have bought what I think are a few of the best flying drones with camera on board as gifts for my nephews, my brother, and my boss's son, and they were hits with all of them!

I may have heard a "this is the best gift ever!" phrase from a couple of them regarding the camera drones as well.

People just love the idea of being able to easily take images from the air using camera drones

What makes the best drone with camera?

One important thing I have learned about drones is that beginners should start small and as inexpensive as possible.

Camera drones can be somewhat difficult to fly and because they can be quite expensive, no one wants to damage their first drone investment that cost them several hundred dollars.

If it was expensive to purchase, you can be sure that the camera drone is also expensive to repair.

So it may be a good idea to not worry about finding a drone with a stellar camera (or even a camera at all) at first because chances are high that you are going to crash it at least the first few times you fly.

To damage a perfectly good camera in the process would be a bummer.

Once you have gotten relatively comfortable flying the drone and are crashing much less often than when you started, it might be time to start thinking about graduating to the bigger, better drones that have cameras with a higher resolution and capability.
